Description

Delicious baked chicken stuffed crescent rolls featuring a creamy and flavorful chicken filling blended with cream cheese, cheddar, and ranch dressing, wrapped in flaky crescent dough and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for a quick dinner or savory snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (or your preferred dressing)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dough

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls (8 rolls)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix Ingredients: Stir everything together until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  3. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Prepare Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Separate the rolls into individual triangles.
  5. Stuff the Crescent Rolls: Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
  6. Roll Crescents: Roll the crescent rolls up starting from the wide end, making sure to enclose the chicken mixture inside.
  7. Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the stuffed crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  9. Serve: Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute rotisserie chicken with any cooked chicken you have on hand.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chicken mixture.
  • Use any dressing you prefer if you want to change up the flavor profile.
  • Ensure crescent rolls are fully sealed to prevent filling leakage during baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated.
