Ingredients
Scale
Shrimp Marinade
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Wrap Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
Instructions
- Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, combine the raw shrimp with olive oil, granulated garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated. Let the shrimp marinate for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Grill the Shrimp: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn opaque and have nice grill marks. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Grill the Tortillas: While the shrimp cool slightly, place the flour tortillas on the grill and heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are lightly charred and warmed through. Remove and set aside.
- Assemble the Wrap Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and Caesar dressing. Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
- Assemble the Wraps: Place a generous portion of the shrimp mixture onto each grilled tortilla. Wrap the tortillas tightly to enclose the fillings and serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- You can substitute romaine with other crisp lettuce varieties if desired.
- For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the shrimp marinade.
- Use gluten-free tortillas to make the wraps gluten-free if necessary.
- Ensure not to overcook the shrimp to keep them tender and juicy.
- Croutons add crunch but can be omitted for a softer texture.
