Ingredients
Scale
For the Cocktail
- 2 oz non-alcoholic spirit or white grape juice (or another preferred base)
- 1 oz pineapple juice (fresh or canned)
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz triple sec or Cointreau (optional)
- ½ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
For Garnish and Glass
- Sugar (for rimming the glass)
- Lemon twist or pineapple slice (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Moisten the rim of a martini glass with a lemon wedge and dip it into sugar to coat the rim evenly, creating a sweet and decorative border for the cocktail.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine the non-alcoholic spirit or white grape juice, pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice, triple sec (if using), and simple syrup. This blend brings together balanced citrus and sweetness.
- Shake: Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 to 20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted, enhancing the flavor and coldness of the drink.
- Serve: Strain the chilled cocktail mixture into the prepared martini glass to keep the ice out and present a smooth beverage.
- Garnish: Add a lemon twist or a slice of pineapple on the rim or inside the glass for an elegant and aromatic finishing touch.
Notes
- You can substitute the non-alcoholic spirit with white grape juice for a lighter flavor or any preferred base.
- Adjust the amount of simple syrup depending on your preferred level of sweetness.
- If you want an alcoholic version, use actual triple sec instead of the optional non-alcoholic variant.
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best tartness and flavor.
- Chilling the martini glass beforehand can help keep your cocktail colder longer.
