Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries (thawed, if frozen)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from 2 lemons)
- 2-3 Tbsp. honey or agave (adjust, to taste)
- 3/4 cup water
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberry Lemonade Mixture: In a blender, combine the strawberries, fresh lemon juice, honey or agave, and water to create the base for your popsicles.
- Blend: Puree the mixture until it is completely smooth and well combined, ensuring no chunks remain.
- Adjust Sweetness: Taste the blended mixture and add more lemon juice or honey/agave if needed to achieve your preferred balance of sweetness and tartness.
- Fill the Popsicle Molds: Using a funnel or careful pouring, fill each popsicle mold with the strawberry lemonade mixture, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
- Insert Sticks: Cover the molds with their lids and insert popsicle sticks securely to hold the popsicles during freezing.
- Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for 3-4 hours or until the popsicles are fully solidified and frozen.
- Enjoy: Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds and enjoy these refreshing, homemade strawberry lemonade treats.
Notes
- For easier removal, dip the popsicle molds in warm water for a few seconds before pulling out the popsicles.
- You can adjust the sweetness by increasing or decreasing the honey or agave according to taste.
- Using fresh lemon juice gives the best flavor, but bottled lemon juice can be used in a pinch.
- Frozen strawberries should be fully thawed before blending to ensure smooth texture.
- These popsicles are naturally gluten-free and can be made vegan by using agave instead of honey.
